Broadway Flea Market and Grand Auction – A Broadway Cares event.
September 21st 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Here’s a great opportunity for Broadway theater fans to do a little shopping for Broadway treasures and to meet Broadway show cast members. The event is a fundraiser for Broadway Cares.
Current Broadway shows will host tables of items for sale, including signed memorabilia, costume sketches, props, and photographs. Shows scheduled to participate include Aladdin, Beautiful, The Book of Mormon, Cabaret, Cinderella, If/Then, The Lion King, Kinky Boots, Les Miserables, Mamma Mia!, Matilda, Newsies, Once, The Phantom of the Opera, Rock of Ages, and Wicked.
The outdoor market will be held in the pedestrian plaza along Broadway between 43rd and 44th Streets; along 44th Street between 7th and 8th Avenues; and in Shubert Alley. There will be an Autograph Table and photo booths on the deck of Junior’s Restaurant in Shubert Alley. You can get autographs and photos with cast members in exchange for donations to Broadway Cares.
Silent auctions are held throughout the day, with new ones opened every thirty minutes. There’s a live auction that begins at 5:00 p.m.
The event is free to attend and open to the public.
