Summer in New York City is a great time to enjoy some first-rate music at free outdoor concerts.
The Charlie Parker Jazz Festival brings some of the world’s best jazz musicians Marcus Garvey Park in Harlem and Tompkins Square Park in Manhattan on August 22, 24, and 26, 2018. There are also performances scheduled for several indoor venues August 22 – 26. The concerts are all free to attend.

Marcus Garvey Park is located in Harlem at at 120th Street and 5th Avenue, and Tompkins Square Park is located the Alphabet City section of the East Village at 9th Street and Avenue A.
