About the Show:

 
Sideshow” is based on the real-life story of conjoined twins Daisy and Violet Hilton who became well-known vaudeville performers in the 1920s and 30s.

This show originally appeared on Broadway in 1997. It closed after a limited run despite getting several Tony Award nominations. In the years since, the show has gained a cult following and this new re-working of the show is getting lots of attention. The creative team behind this production including writer/director Bill Condon (“Chicago” and “Dreamgirls”), Grammy Award winning composer Henry Krieger, and Tony Award nominated lyricist Bill Russell.

The show stars Erin Davie and Emily Padgett as the Hilton twins.

Preview performances began on October 28th. Opening Night is November 17th. The show is playing at the St. James Theatre, 246 West 44th Street (between Broadway and 8th Avenue).
