The hotel, located in a historic building, is fairly small, with about 100 rooms. The rooms are modern and well-appointed. The location at 40 West 40th Street, between 5th Avenue and Avenue of the Americas, is right across the street from Bryant Park and the Main Branch of the New York Public Library.
