Many New York City attractions offer discounted or free admission for children. We’ve compiled a list of children’s admission fees for many of NYC’s most popular attractions. Planning your activities around attractions that offer free or reasonably priced admission for kids will help stretch your family’s vacation budget.

And, of course,  there are also free things to do with kids. Central Park, Bryant Park, and High Line Park are all free and a good way to get some fresh air and exercise.  Governor’s Island is free and the ferry ride over is free for children 12 and under (only $2 round-trip for adults). The Staten Island Ferry is free for everyone. The New York Public Library is free to visit (see the original Winnie the Pooh and friends).
