A Free Photography Festival Housed in a Temporary Village of Shipping Containers

Photoville returns to Brooklyn Bridge Park for its 6th year September 13th – 17th and 21st – 24th, 2017.

This annual festival creates an unusual venue for photo exhibitions, workshops, panel discussions, and more by creating a temporary village out of over 50 shipping containers placed Brooklyn Bridge Park.

In addition to the photography exhibits, activities, and events, there is a beer garden and Smorgasburg food vendors.

Photoville spans two long weekends (Thurs – Sunday) and is open from noon to 10:00 p.m. most days. See the daily schedule.

The event is free and open to the public.

Location

The Photoville container village is set up at Brooklyn Bridge Plaza in Brooklyn Bridge Park. This is the portion of the park that is directly under the span of the Brooklyn Bridge.

Brooklyn Bridge Park is on the Brooklyn side of the East River. You can get there from Manhattan by subway, bus, or ferry. The NYC Ferry will take you right across the river from Pier 11 in Lower Manhattan to Brooklyn Bridge Park.
