September 23rd at 6:00pm – The Metropolitan Opera’s Opening Night performance of Tchaikovsky’s Eugene Onegin will be simulcast live on Times Square’s electronic billboards.  About 1,500 seats will be available in Duffy Square (between 46th and 47th Streets) on a first-come-first-served basis.  Additional seating will be available in the pedestrian zone between 44th and 45th Streets.

The broadcast begins at 6:00 with a red carpet pre-show and then the opera begins at 6:30.
