The 2017 Space and Science Festival takes place August 1 – 6 at Pier 86 and the Intrepid Sea, Air, and Space Museum.

The event features special exhibits and presentations by NASA.

Events held at Pier 86 (except for the Drones exhibition) are free. Most of the free activities at Pier 86 happen on the weekend, when there are displays and activities by NASA, Intrepid Education Zone, FIRST, Con Edison, Honeybee Robotics, Brooklyn Robot Foundry, LEGO, USA Today Network VR experience, Google’s Code Next,, U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary, Jupiter Joe’s Sidewalk Astronomy, Kuiper Kat’s Astronomy, Sierra Nevada Corporation, Heinlein Prize Trust, Brooklyn Drones NYC and the Drone Racing League.
