World Peace Orchestra is a nonprofit organization that brings together young musicians from around the world for an annual performance. This year’s Annual Music for Peace Concert will happen on September 10th at Lincoln Center’s Avery Fisher Hall. And Goldstar has discount tickets available. Regular full price is $35 – $55 and the discount tickets are $14 – $27.50. Come on out to hear these talented young muscians and support this ambitious effort to demonstrate the unifying power of music.
The orchestra is led by Lithuanian conductor Gintaras Rinkevicius. In addition to the orchestra of 130 musicians from 60 countries, the concert will feature world-renowned violinist Alexander Markov and soprano Dominika Zamara. Actor Kevin Spacey will provide the evening’s introduction.
