  • 2015 Mets Baseball Discount Tickets

    The Mets play at Citi Field.  Here are directions on how to get to Citi Field by bus, train, or subway.

    Goldstar Mets Ticket Deals.  Goldstar is a provider of discount event and entertainment tickets.  They pretty much always have deals on Mets game tickets as well as discounts on many other things to do in NYC. The Goldstar discount tickets are a good deal. They do tack on service fees, but they are less than the fees charged at the Met’s box office.  However, you should check to make sure they are getting the best deal, so here’s a link to the Mets box office ticket site so you can compare prices.

    To take advantage of the Goldstar offers, you’ll need to register at their site. Signing up is easy, all they ask for is an email address and a zipcode. Sign up at their website, select “find events” from the menu at the top of the page, and enter “Mets” into the search box in the right-side column.

    Current Mets Tickets Deals:

    September 2 – Mets vs Phillies.

    September 15 – Mets vs Marlins.

    September 21 & 23 – Mets vs Atlanta Braves.

    Military and First Responder Discounts – The Mets have a discount ticket program for members of the military (active, retired, reserve, and veterans) and first-responders (police, fire, and EMS). Upper level seats can be purchased for $9 and field level seats are available for 25% to 60% off regular prices.  The offer is good for select games.  See details and list of game dates.

  • Discount Tickets for Penn & Teller on Broadway

    Penn & Teller have brought their unique form of magic show to the Marquis Theatre for a six week engagement.  There are four weeks left (the show runs through August 16th) and we have some discount ticket offers for you.

    LivingSocial has a deal with $69 Mezzanine and $99 Orchestra tickets to Sunday performances, or $75 Mezzanine and $119 Orchestra tickets for Monday – Friday performances.

    Groupon has a similar deal with $77 Mezzanine and $108 Orchestra tickets for Sunday evening performances, or $83 Mezzanine and $128 Orchestra tickets for Monday – Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday matinees.

  • 2015 Broadway Week Dates Announced


    Broadway Week, with 2 for 1 tickets to Broadway shows, returns September 7th – 20th, 2015. The two-for-1 tickets go on sale beginning August 19th at 10:30 a.m. Tickets can be ordered online through the NYCgo.com website.

    It looks like all the current shows are participating. This is an excellent opportunity for savings on hit shows that don’t usually offer discounts.

  • Hedwig and the Angry Inch – Discount Tickets

    Hedwig and the Angry Inch is playing at the Belasco Theatre on Broadway.  Hedwig won the 2014 Tony Award for Best Musical Revival.

    Darren Criss of “Glee” is currently in the starring role and is scheduled to stay on through July 19, 2015.  Taye Diggs will take on the role of Hedwig beginning July 22nd.

    Full price tickets prices range from $49 to $162.  The $49 seats are toward the back of the balcony section.

    Discount Tickets: LivingSocial has discount tickets available for performances in May, June and July. The discounted tickets are $64 & $75 for Mezzanine seats and $109 for Orchestra seats.

    Rush Ticket Lottery: A minimum of 20 tickets will be sold by lottery for each performance on the day of the performance. Beginning two and half hours prior to each show, lottery entries will be taken at the Belasco Theatre box office. When entering the lottery, you can specify if you want to purchase one or two tickets.  Winners will be drawn two hours before the performance. Each lottery winner can purchase their tickets for $37 each.  Seat locations may be partial view. See details.

    Standing Room Tickets: On days when the performance is sold-out, standing room tickets will be available at the Belasco Theatre box office for $29.00 beginning 45  minutes prior to curtain.  Standing room tickets are only available for sold-out performances.

    The Belasco Theatre is located at 111 West 44th Street (Between Broadway and 6th Avenue).  Hotels closest to the Belasco Theatre.

    “Amazing Grace” begins preview performances on Broadway June 25, 2015 at the Nederlander Theater.  The musical takes place in the 1700s and is based on the story behind the “Amazing Grace” song we all know today. The show had a successful run in Chicago before moving to Broadway.
