In addition to the art exhibit, a lush flower show in the Haupt Conservatory explores the remarkable beauty and variety of Hawaiian flora—as well as its complex botanical and cultural history.

“Orchid Evenings” are special cocktail night events at the New York Botanical Garden’s orchid show. Guests enjoy an evening visit to the orchid-filled conservatory and enjoy a complimentary cocktail. Each year, around Halloween, the New York Botanical Garden creates a big display of intricately carved pumpkins in a garden setting. There are special activities for kids too. Attending the NYBG Orchid Show
What could be nicer than a sunny conservatory full of beautiful orchids? Leave the blustery cold weather outside and enjoy a visit to the New York Botanical Gardens annual Orchid Show. This year’s theme is “Thailand”. The orchids are on display in the Enid A. Haupt Conservatory. The 2017 orchid show runs from February 18 – April 9.
You’ll need to purchase an all-garden pass to attend the orchid show. The pass provides entrance to the conservatory, Everett Children’s Adventure Garden, Rock Garden (open April – October), Native Plant Garden, the Tram Tour, and all exhibits open on the day of your visit.
