“Something Rotten!” is a new musical comedy that will open at the St. James Theatre in the spring of 2015. All seats to the first three preview performances, March 23 – 25 are currently on sale for just $15.95 through Telecharge, at the St. James Theatre box office, or by phone (see details). The price is a nod to the fact that the musical is set in the 1590s, where two aspiring playwrites set out to compete with The Bard by writing the first ever musical.
Music and lyrics are by Wayne Kirkpatrick and Karey Kirkpatrick. Book by Karey Kirkpatrick and John O’Farrell. Directed and choreographed by Casey Nicholaw.
The St. James Theatre is located at 246 44th Street, between Broadway and 8th Avenue.
