The Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum is housed on the USS Intrepid Aircraft Carrier. To give you an idea of just how large an aircraft carrier is, exhibits on the ship include the Space Shuttle Enterprise, British Airway’s Concord, and a couple dozen other planes, helicopters, and space craft, and there’s plenty of room to spare for additional exhibits. The USS Growler submarine is docked next to the Intrepid and is open for guests to visit.
Regular admission price for the Intrepid Museum and and the Space Shuttle Pavilion is $31 for adults, $27 for seniors and U.S. college students, $24 for kids ages 7 – 17. Active and Retired U.S. Military and children under three are admitted free. You can save $2 on admission by purchasing your tickets online through the Intrepid Museum website.
Groupon is offering a deal with museum and Space Shuttle Pavilion admission for just $20 through March 31, 2015. See the Groupon Intrepid Museum discount details.
