Free Mid-Day Concerts at Columbia University

Columbia University presents a program of free noontime musical performances at the university’s Faculty House building. The concerts feature Columbia University students and music associates. Most are solo instrumentalist recitals, but there are sometimes duos or small ensembles scheduled.

There are performances scheduled for most Wednesdays January – April and October – early December.

Mid-Day Music @ Columbia events are free and open to the public.

Faculty House is an on-campus event space housed in a brick and limestone building originally constructed in 1923. Garden Room 1, where the Mid-Day Music concerts are held, is on the first floor.
